This seems to be the major project for our chapter!
Our old van has been put out to pasture, still drivable, with
many, many highway miles on it.
This is our new van, acquired with many donations received in
our various fund drives.
We operate this van every weekday to shuttle veterans to their appointments at the
Stratton Veterans Administration Medical Center in Albany. Our volunteer drivers
leave Sidney every morning and if you have an appointment in Albany, call
(607) 561-2180 to reserve a seat on this van. There is no charge to the veteran!
Always in need of more drivers, we'd like YOU to also become a volunteer driver!
You can perform a great service to your fellow man by taking him to his health care
appointment. You don't even have to be a veteran yourself!
