Communications were read and placed out for all to see.
Committee reports:
The Forget-Me-Not Drive held May 23-24 at Oneonta Wal-Mart and Oneonta was
successful. We raised a total of $1462.26.
This was done with only 6 members working: if we had more help at the tables it
would be a more pleasant task and the donations would be greater. All the money
collected is used by your chapter for chapter activities. Plan to help us out at this fallâ
€™s drive.
The Memorial Day Parade and Services were held May 26. An open house buffet was
held at The Oneonta Veterans Club after the service in Neahwa Park.
Chapter 200 had a car in the Sidney Hometown Day Parade on June14th. Only 3
members participated.
Unfinished business:
Outgoing and Incoming Officers need to exchange chapter property as the new Officers
will take over their duties on July 1.
New business:
Norm Payne will pay for an ad in The Pennysaver to thank the Sidney VFW, the Band
members and all the public for supporting us.

We will also provide Certificates of Merit to Ivan & Carol Bennett and all band
