Committee reports
: On December 5th several members brought items or showed up at the DAV table in Oneonta Southside Mall for
a "show & tell" type day. A good time was had by all except Santa who got kicked out of the mall. (The Mall had
their own Santa and felt Roger De-Chiara was distracting from their picture taking) no problems. We did not get
any new members but collected $41.74 in donations.
Adjutant Thompson reported he presented the new US Flag and pole to the Norwich Webelos Scout Troop on
December 16th. He also gave them several brochures on flag etiquette and had a little program on what a flag is
and can be used for. The flag and pole was purchased by the chapter.
Unfinished business:
It was reported that we have not yet received the title for the 2004 DAV Van from The VA therefore Mr. Wing can
not license it. He is patient and understanding "but".
